Unfortunately it is time for the prices to go up a little and become sustainable. Until now, I have charged $50 for up to 2 hours searching. This was never going to provide enough income to keep this service open. The new pricing is:
- $75 for Metro Adelaide searches. This covers the call out plus up to 1 hour of searching in an area up to 30km radius from the Adelaide CBD.
- $100 for searches carried out further than 30km radius from the Adelaide CBD up to 50km radius.
- Please call for pricing for other locations.
- If the item is not found within 1hr, then further searching is available for $25 per half hour.
- Discount is available for pensioners.
- The price is the same for successful and unsuccessful searches. A reward for success is appreciated, but not expected đŸ™‚
Underwater/ Diving search prices are variable and negotiable.

We are moving into metal detector retail with Teknetics, Fisher, Bounty Hunter and Garrett machines turning up shortly.

We are currently gearing up for under water searches in summer including a boat, dive gear and a underwater metal detector system.
January
- I will be on ABC local radio tonight to talk about metal detecting and jewellery rescue in Adelaide
- A little work is going on behind the scenes to create a community website focussed on jewellery rescue in Adelaide. A few of us locals got together recently to try and find a lost wedding ring, but were unsuccessful. However we decided to join up to help people with their lost items.
